This was so wonderfully written, and a pleasure to read! What with already having quite a soft spot for the Dragon Knight and such an emotionally raw, beautiful backstory I can now associate with him, how could I possibly not love Volga all the more? I have you to thank for that, and also the numbing heartbreak that came with this story's end. It just so happens that I'm a sucker for having my heart broken by artfully made fanfictions.

This should have so many more reviews. Your skill as a writer is truly spectacular!

A tragic end for an awesome character, and a very powerful end to a great story. The only fault I think I saw was a continuity error regarding Volvagia being slain by the Hero of Time, but that's pretty much just nitpicking and the Zelda timeline is already really convoluted, so it doesn't matter that much...like, at all, especially when the story is this good. Really makes me wish Volga had gotten an expanded role in the actual game.

Wonderful work, my friend! Keep this up and I guarantee you'll be going places!

Awww I really loved how you showed everything behind Volga's actions and thirst for revenge during his last battle. And how you described Cia's hold on him and then him breaking out of it. And the scene with Zelda helping him. This was a wonderful bittersweet end and I think you really did the Volga character justice. Congrats on another completed fic! :)

I got chills when Volga and Wizzro were facing off. Nicely written battle. They never got along very well, did they?

I like how Volga shows concern for Cia, and I liked how you explained it as it possibly being his loyalty complex thingy kicking in. It seems he's also kind of sympathetic towards her. Interesting development...

I thought Ganondorf was particularly jerkish and well-written here, and I was rooting for Volga to drive Volvagia's bones into his heart. Good job with that confrontation! Can't wait to read the last chapter. I remember Volga had some really good moments in this part of the game.

Yay! The fighting begins! I was cool seeing all this stuff going down from the villains' perspective. I find Wizzro's antics entertaining, but poor Volga, having to put up with him.

It's too bad Volga couldn't go to the HoT era and see Volvagia again, but hey, he gets to visit Skyloft! Not a bad deal. Woo, you wrote about a small battalon of loftwing knights instead of having a sprawling army up there! Definitely more realistic and true to SS. And GROOSE! We had a Groose sighting! /insert lengthy rant about how he should have been in Hyrule Warriors here/ I enjoyed the entire Skyloft scene immensely and I hope we see more of Groose next chapter (Groosenator? :D). It would be cool to see a run-in with Fi too.

The brawl between Volga and Ghirahim went down exactly how I'd expect. As in, the way the alliance came about just felt right, with Ghirahim reluctant to admit defeat, yet making sure HE's still the prima donna by the end of it. No way would he take orders from Volga! On the topic of Geems, I think you wrote him very in character and he was definitely the highlight of this chapter for me. I could just hear him spouting his drama as I read along! Nice work sneaking in the actual game dialogue too.

I just discovered this story and I love it! You gave Volga a wonderful back story, and everyone is characterized so perfectly! Great job, and I can't wait for more! :)

Okay...this is awesome. Volga is hands-down one of my favorite characters in Hyrule Warriors, and to see him given this much of an extensive and cool backstory is just too perfect. Good on you, man! Keep up the great work!

Lol I think you got Cia's characterization spot on. Before her tale thing came out I thought she was pretty awesome, if stupid. Now I just can't believe her stupidity.
BUT VOLGA. OMG. Can't wait to see what happens when he sees Agitha again!
Not that I paticularly care for her character, but, this fic has made me like her. Lol. Can't wait for the next update

I enjoy how you write Cia. Volga's encounter with her was really fun to read! The Lizalfos' loyalty to him is uh...sweet. In a goofy kind of way way. Not sure how to describe it. XD I like their dumbed down speech too, and I seriously felt sad for them when they went down. Poor goofy lizard men.

When the "familiar voice" spoke in his head I was like "NOOOO don't go back Volga!" But of course he did. Well, King Dodongo put up a pretty pathetic fight. Cia's whole compelling/mind control thing at the end was handled very well from Volga's POV. Nice job with that!

Ahhh! Argorok is such a jerk. It was neat that he and Volga had a confrontation, though! I guess we're in the days of Twilight Princess now. I still laugh over us trying to figure out whether the bread dude/ma'am was a dude.

I love how Volga is simultaneously so introverted and violent. Agitha to the rescue! You wrote her perfectly quirky and she seems just offbeat enough to let an intimidating dragon man on the run into her house. Nice cameo.
