This was soooooo sooooo sweet. 3 Perfectly canon. I love how it wasn't overly done, overly mushy...just shows that they care, but also know him well enough to know when to hang back, just being there for him without mollycoddling or condescending, trying to show him they still respect him as a leader, too...Well balanced. :)

I love your description of Mikey's thoughts being like Pop Rocks, and his frustration with it. That totally reads to me. I kind of hope they address his ADHD in canon, and formally acknowledge it. It think it would make a lot of kids feel great to have an awesome superhero to look up to who doesn't let a disability get in his way.

I saw the art done for this story over on Deviant Art and followed the tumbler link in eager anticipation to read the accompanying story. I was a little disappointed to see only part of the first chapter there but please to see there was more. Sadly, I couldn't find the rest for a few days but I decided to try again tonight and was very happy to see the link which either wasn't there before or I somehow missed, probably the latter.

Anyway, after reading this, I am very glad I tried again. It was very good to see the deeper thoughts and reactions behind events that were left without follows up by Nick. I very much enjoyed this and I hope to see more from you :-)

Awww. Nice and fluffy. To be fair, Leo's brothers give him a hard time about leadership, so there's a lot of mutual tearing down going on. But I appreciate the understanding everyone has come to about Mikey's disorder and that the brothers never meant to break his heart and make him feel worthless.
