So, so sorry it took me forever to read this! But it was very worth the wait! Zozo is a perfect fit in their family. Even now on Grey's, I can't imagine MerDer having a family without Zola. She and Bailey came about in different ways, but they're both little miracles. :)

Yay for a Shepherd family Christmas, too! I've always wanted a big family get-together on the show, and this made me feel better about not getting one! lol. Derek with his nieces and nephews makes me swoon, and him with their own kids makes me melt even more!

You've written a very sweet story! I love Zola wanting to "surgeon" her toys. There's a deleted scene from last year's alternate universe episode in which Zola is doing a "whipple" on a today. Too bad it was deleted.
