Sheankelor chapter 1 . 8/10/2015 Madam Curie? So, she was a witch? Or is this Madam Curie just related to the other who studied radioactive material? Sorry, the name caught me and I just had to comment on it. Now, onto what you wrote. This image of Albus is wonderful. A perfect turning point for our young Gryffindor, and one that many people come to appreciate in the future. I do pity Professor Black and the students in the class. I have a feeling that the students around Albus will be a bit more careful not to startle him. I do hope that Professor Black had a mental grade for the potion in his head already, and truthfully, they are lucky that it didn't cause forgetfulness in any of the people in the room. Though,I am sure Albus would have appreciated it at the beginning of this story. Thank for a lovely end of the evening tale! |
SylvaDragon chapter 1 . 1/21/2015 I really loved this, thanks so much for dedicating it to me. :) It is wonderful, and it made me smile very much, for an eleven year old scared Albus was extremely cute, and gently funny. I was pretty sure he wouldn't be expelled, but I was still a little nervous for him, and at first I wondered what he could possibly have done. And congrats on your good knowledge of past Hogwart's teachers. ;) I really liked how he noticed how magnificient the headmistress's sturdy looked, because of course though he didn't know it at the time, one day it would be his, that was a nice touch. And the headmistress asking about his sister was a nice touch, I really liked the protrayal of his emotions. And the bit about flowers coming out of people's ears was very funny, it seems that even when angry albus is still crazy. ;) And I loved the idea with the cores of the wands, and the idea that this would make young Albus so determined to use his powers for good. I particularly loved the end where he decides to be the world's fierciest protector, that's the way I love to think of him despite all JKR's attempts to paint him as manipulative, I simply cannot see it. So, thank you very much, it was a wonderful story, one I shall reread several times, and I'm sorry that I didn't see it sooner, *mutters about missing or non working alerts* ;) |
