Before I get to anything else, let me tell you the ending was fantastic and wove together everything in the fic.
The characterization of both is great, and doesn't deviate from what we know of them while still playing to the AU you put them in.
This take on Sirius' childhood was great because he is not the black sheep he made himself to be when talking to Harry, but he still is a confused boy who is not really into the 'family thing'.
Lovely.

This was unexpected. I make a point of not reading descriptions of stories if I can help it, so I didn't see where this was going; I thought this would be a much darker fic where Sirius was going bananas! lol. This was cute, though. I don't read a lot of Soulmate fiction, but I felt like this was a different spin on it, and it was subtly done. The only nit-picky thing I can say about it is that the nickname "Moony" was given to Remus after his friends found out about his being a werewolf, and "Padfoot" was Sirius' nickname after they learned to be Animagi.
