Why is you're OC 'Kelly' the one John is closest to instead of Fredric 104?
Why is you're OC 'Kelly' not wearing the standard green assault armor that John and the rest of Blue team wear? I don't mean to sound like an elitist, however the books give a lot of behind the scenes information about the Haloverse. Notably, in this case, is that all the various colors and styles of armor is simply a game mechanic to add variety of customization for the players, in universe and with the exception of Grey Team, all the Spartan II's wear the same green powered assault armor the master chief is famous for.

Also SPARTAN II's aren't like normal people, they don't converse openly with outsiders(non-Spartans), and Master Chief would never say anything like 'he's a hell of a warrior' he'd say something like 'he won't be a burden' or some such.

Overall I give the chapter a B for execution, but an F for characterization.

Yea I'm done. This is a terrible job depicting the spartans and how they act. They are REALLY OOC. They are WAY TOO EMOTIONAL. And they APARENTLY forget 27 years of UNSC protocol and leave their ship just randomly drifting in space for someone to find and reverse engineer it. Nope per protocol they would have destroyed it if your spartan depictions had even a sliver of accuracy.

Woah way too fucking fast slow down dude they would never EVER take their helmets off. If they wanted to they could plow through the crew of the Normandy no problem. They most likely wouldn't but that gives them the high ground in negotiations. And spartans never really talk to other non spartans. That is how anti social they are . The only non spartan I've seen befriend one is sergeant johnson. And he fought a 27 year war with chief. That is how long it took for them to even grt on speaking terms. There is no way the those three would take it this easily. And spartans are trained to be almost completely emotionless. They would face the relegation of the reapers threat with indifference. Especially after facing the covenant and the flood which the reaters wouldn't even be able to fight the covenant. The reapers have 3km ships covenant have I believe 26 km give or take a km. That is fact.

Eh, the story is decent so far, written well imo, but the Spartans seem a bit, out of character, realistically Thel would be the one to talk often, perhaps I didn't read much int he past chapter.

I will admit that the one thing I can't wait to see is the Citadel DLC arc.
Also, I wonder how will John react when he hears Harbinger's voice for the first time.

I like this story, but there were a number of lore errors for the Halo side of this crossover. They became noticeable to me in this chapter:
1) There were only seventy five Spartan recruits. 33 made it through augmentation intact. About a dozen were crippled. The rest died.
2) They were augmented when they were 14, not ten. Their first mission came later that year.
3) As of the end of Halo 4, Chief was beginning to feel emotions at a normal level. Just watch his final conversation with Cortana in the game.
Still, this story shows great promise and I will keep reading to see how it develops.

Hmmm, i am not exactly informed when it comes to biology, but would'nt having dual Levo and Dextro DNA be impossible?

Because from what i understand, Levo is like the 'left hand thumb' whilst Dextro assumes the 'right hand thumb', though unlike what Mass Effect tells us, it is possible for Levo Acid's to interact with Dextro acid's, it takes time and effort to convert the Dextro Acid into a form with which the Human body can absorb the said Dextro Acid (Sugar's as an example as they are Dextro... imagine what Turian blood would taste like... Minty!).

I personally believe that Grunt's and Elite's are Dextro DNA just from the blood colouring of both species, in Humans our blood is red due to iron in the haemoglobin, whilst the blue in the Grunt's blood possibly comes from copper, similar to the horseshoe crab.

The chief would have deleted that data base befor he left that ship. That is bs
