This was a really great story hun and i loved how you've written all the characters.

Aww this was sweet.

I can see Klaus acting like this. I think he was beaten by his father when he was younger - for the simple reason that he wasn't his. I think that made his aware of what it was like, and offered him some compassion. This was really cute and heartwarming.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get to this, but you know i haven't watched The Originals yet. I have just finished with season 5 of VD and felt i know enough about the Mikaelson's and what will happen in New Orleans that i can read this now.
I really liked this, i think you've got Klaus's character down pat, with that mix of disregard and curiosity we see glimpses of in VD.

I have no words to express how much I loved this story. It showed every part of Klaus that he could have and you did it with a flawlessness I've rarely seen. Thank you so much for writing this for me. From the first word to the last, it was nothing short of perfection.

Poor Charles. I think Leon got off easy, personally, but I feel so bad for Charles. No good deed, I suppose. But, the fact he's to be back with his wife makes it easier.

Perhaps I should have braced for this chapter. Tears. It's not often I'm swallowing back tears while reading, but you did it. Not sure I could have finished this chapter if the baby died. Well done!

I'm sorry it took me so long to review, but... damn. It was worth waiting until I didn't have a migraine to read this. The description, the images... this is amazing. I can picture it all and the feels for Desiree hit deep. It's also nice to see Klaus in a role where he's not such an asshole. I knew he had it in him.

I think this present day scene wrapped up this fic so well, like a little Klaus shaped bow!

It was so sad to see him giving up, losing his fight and will to live after the loss of baby Hope. I'm glad it was Hayley who stepped in and saved him, and that in the end, he realised that even he needed to be saved sometimes.

I also love seeing a witch get her comeuppance, so that was awesome.

Brilliant fic, absolutely in character (which is so rare, as these are complicated characters to write for), and equal parts amusing, moving, and intriguing. It was also really good to see so many of the characters featured in the story.

Loved it! Adding to my 'favourites' now. Your recipient is a lucky girl!
