This was a great story and I love how Mochida got his redemption. He was a giant jerk in the series but to be fair they are still young and in middle school so it's nice to see him become a much better adult who learned from his mistakes.

Nobody ever bothered with Mochida, stuck as that one guy who tried to humiliate Tsuna and has been the one used when it comes to TYL!Class reunion fics. Despite the fact he's a senpai. It's kind of weird how no one ever elaborate as to how exactly that senpai was roped into the Vongola famiglia years later. Me? My headcanon was in high school. So it was really nice to see him change and develop as a new man.

And my oh my, it just has to Mukuro. Honestly thought the one who would extend a hand would be Takeshi if only because they're both "sword guys" lol even Ryohei. Pineapple was the farthest thing from my mind.

Loved that backstory for Mochida... Really sweet and definitely a touching redemption fic. Good job! I actually want to see interactions in the family now. Hope you'll get to write more.

Huh. How unexpected. Have I ever told you how much I adore your spin on characters? Because I really do. I've seen this prompt with Mochida and Vongola before, but they're usually short and focus on Mochida feeling shame for his actions, while also pointing out how far Tsuna's come. I've never read one that actually goes in depth about Mochida and how he could be. So yeah, this was pretty cool.

LOVED IT OMG I COULD TOTALLY SEE THIS HAPPENING! You made Mochida not a douche! I've read a few stories where they make him a grade A douchebag, but you de-douched him! You gave him a reason for the way he acted as well a reason for him to change! I just love this story! Love it!
