Druto chapter 1 . 5/9 This movie is soooo awesome |
WadeH chapter 1 . 6/30/2018 I quite liked this story. Just a bit of romance but not over the top cheap shot. Nice bit at the dam, and. Ice to see Cage not alone in the moment of defeat doe once. |
siftingcloud chapter 1 . 2/2/2017 This is so in-character! Really nice; I love your take on what would have happened. I wish you'd write more! |
Thisperson chapter 1 . 5/12/2016 I think it was written very well. I loved it! They're so perfect together! My favorite part is when you said "cage fell to his knees, Rita cradled in his arms". So romantic! |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/27/2015 Omg I love this so much! Live Die Repeat is my all time favorite film and this is just so perfect it's unbelievable! Good job xxxxx |
Jtgil chapter 1 . 6/16/2015 This was awesome! Not lacking some romance but not overdoing it with nonsense. This was a fantastic and lovely little one-shot. I can completely see this happening in one of the loops, but the ending is questionable, although still logical. And I'm glad there were some warm moments between the 2 characters, we don't see much in the movie. Man I wish you wrote way more, you are great! |
Hadrian von Eveschatten chapter 1 . 5/30/2015 The only reason I'm not super depressed right now is because you have written stories with them getting their happy ending. |
frescasenorita chapter 1 . 5/18/2015 Fantastic! This was just the fic I was looking for! I love the way you write both characters! Spot on! |
shadowhuntingdauntlessdemigod chapter 1 . 4/12/2015 I really liked reading this! But man, that ending was sad ;) Still loved it though! |
Guest chapter 1 . 1/22/2015 Prompt: Rita and Cage are not killed by the alpha in the final battle and instead kill the omega together (so cage doesn't regain the power at the end either)...if that makes sense...love the story by the way :) |
Floris chapter 1 . 1/18/2015 I enjoyed this! Saw the movie yesterday. |
jazzpha chapter 1 . 1/12/2015 This was a really nice one-shot! I particularly enjoyed seeing how you dug deeper into Rita's emotional side without reducing her to just that; it's a tough balancing act to pull of, especially because we only really see her hardened soldier side for a majority of the film. You also did quite a good job of allowing for a few moments of genuine tenderness and affection to stand on their own before everything goes south, as it was inevitably going to do. Rather than constantly remind us of how the showdown at the dam was destined to end, you delayed that sledgehammer until right near the end. Not only did that allow for some nice emotional warmth to carry the middle of the story, but it kept the angst to a moderate, believable level and made the ending hit that much harder. Ouch. That stung. Nice work. Thanks for sharing it with us! |
Hoplite39 chapter 1 . 1/10/2015 This is why fanfic exists. So that the writer can describe a scene that is not covered in canon. I always wondered what would have happened if they rested as Cage suggested. I am sure they did it at least once, perhaps when Rita was more badly injured. I think your version was a fair reflection and logical. The only thing that I would change is the end. I don't think they would ever make it to the end line you describe. Not unless Cage somehow just wanted to let Rita see for herself just once what was at the dam, just to share the experience with her. Indeed, that concept has some logic to it. But it's just as likely Cage that Cage would spend one night with her and feel so heart-broken that he'd never do it again. That also makes sense to me. It's safe to say it's no spoiler that they both die in the end. In this fandom, the death of the protagonists debs not mean a sad ending. |
o0ObubblyO0o1 chapter 1 . 12/31/2014 I really really liked it. It had a nice length and gave exactly what I was looking for! Keep writing! |
Makokam chapter 1 . 12/14/2014 This was cute, and I was pleasently surprised to find no sex, despite that being what I was expecting. I was always curious why she never made it further, and wondered if he made it up. I'm guessing he didn't, considering after that scene in the movie he went by himself. But it does beg the question of how he was ever able to fly it out of there. Aside from the one time he went all God of War on them. This was a great little story. It really makes we want to know what happens next. Makokam out. |
