All victors are acquainted, that's for one. So, if you are including the victors now working as mentors, you should have thought through the relationships between them in a much more profound way than you did. Secondly, the political aspect is entirely missing, which is a crime when writing about "Hunger Games" (a political futuristic novel). Thirdly, Finnick's extracurricular activities, so to speak, couldn't have been known to the wide audience. Publicly, it really appeared as if he was a popular figure among Capitolites. Don't forger that it is a political novel and Finnick's "profession" is being used by Snow for other political goals. It's not that simple. Lastly, the dynamics between Katniss and Finnick. I would truly like to read a good fanfic about them, but there's an age difference, there's attitude difference, there's a difference of experiences to consider. Taking it all into consideration, these two wouldn't speak to one another like you made them at this point.

I loved Katniss' dialogue with Rue. That was really sweet to read.
Whop, confrontation and reconciliation. My heart cried a little when Katniss apologized and shared that sweet moment with Finnick. Nicely done.

Ohh, Finnick and Katniss meet! So much tension! I liked how you included Haymitch's pov. It was nice to read. Most fics don't give Haymitch pov during the games. Nicely done! Liked this chapter, interested to see what you do next.
