Ohhh this was sooo good! Poor Screamer is so hurt and traumatized now... I can't wait to read how he us going to act/behave now that he's been reprogrammed

If i were Soundwave i would wipe his memory of the reprogramming. To reduce the stress on his systems.

So this story's been sticking in my head and I have a theory for what's coming next: Skywarp and Thundercracker find out about what's happened. Maybe a cassette tells them, or they overhear it or something. Then they make up an excuse to take Starscream off the base for a fly, just the three of them.
And then they knock him out, and book it to the Autobots, and beg them fir help, because holy bovine that's just wrong.

Wow. This story gives me chills. Starscream's a complicated character when he isn't just a caricature of ambition. I like your take on him, the way he responds to things. Damaging his own coding the way you describe after a deep loss seems terribly like him.

Honestly, this fanfic is the only reason i check up on the TF/BW archive of this website any more. I'm super happy that you haven't abandoned it and your command of these characters is absolutely astounding.

Honestly, the subject matter of this kind of fic usually isn't my cup of tea because it all too often uses the concept of forced reprogramming in a... kinda fetishistic way, but your portrayal of it is exactly as horrific and violating as I imagine it would realistically be. You are handling the parallels between reprogramming and real life abuse in a very sensitive and thoughtful manner, and Starscream's psychological trauma and breakdowns are totally believable and manage to elicit just the right amount of sympathy without sacrificing his character and personality. I only wish I could take on a subject this difficult and make it work like you do.

I'm also very intrigued by your characterisation of Megatron thus far. I understand the temptation to simply reduce him to a complete uncaring asshole who doesn't give a crap about the effects of reprogramming on Starscream, but you've really given him a much more nuanced portrayal then many other authors might. This is one of your writings greatest strengths. When reading this story, none of your characters feel one-dimensional or caricatured, and this really helps to sell the idea of there being a world outside of Starscream's story and that the other characters appearing are, in fact, characters and not simply plot devices that exist merely to abuse/help Starscream as the plot demands.

Please keep this story going. It honestly improves my day every time I see that you've updated.

Thankfully, Hook seems like a nice guy. Starscream definitly needs someone who knows what he’s going through, while not being an idiot like Megatron. I hope he’ll be able to fix him without too much trouble.

Can I just start of by saying that this story is one of the best Starscream based fanfics I have ever read. I have not seen other stories with this sort of plot line witch makes in unique and exciting to read.

I love the whole dynamic between Starscream and how he interacts with other characters. The scenes he shares with Megatron are extremely intense and interesting. I really hope we see more scenes between the two. As so Soundwave, well I don't think I have seen someone write Soundwave as well as you have. You portray him perfectly; with just he right amount of creepy yet he is not devoid of emotion.

I am kinda nervous (also excited) to see what will unfold now that Hook has got hold of Starscream. Nothing good I can imagine considering how Starscream been handling things.

I am also thinking about something Soundwave said at the end of Chapter 8. About how he has a willingness to to things he would rather not. That just makes me thinks if he had all ready tried being nice with Starscream, is his next approach going to be along the lines of "lock Starscream in a room with me, strap him down so he can't get away, talk him down until he realises I am not a threat". So I am excited ,yet nervous, to see how that will all play out.

Away I love this fanfiction a lot. Can't wait for the next update ;)

Oh a serious note...can I just say how much I love the dialogue because of how in character it really is? Even with Starscream now becoming a programmed slave, you nailed their interactions perfectly. I might go back to previous chapters to comment on their other...situations together as well, because those are parts of this story that pleases me the most. In fact...I was thinking of making a fanart pic dedicated to this story, and I know the perfect thing to incorporate in such a pic...

I've come back to re-read my favorite fic's. And I've got to ask, How do you do it? This is amazing. The emotions you make a reader feel... ~3 I hope you continue this story when you get the time. It's simply a masterpiece that would be heartbreaking to see left incomplete.
