ultraminty chapter 24 . 10/29/2019 This was a sweet story. I really enjoyed the personal growth that Cordelia went through and I feel like you address her moving on from Chrom the best out of all the other stories involving her. I feel that every interaction between her and Lon'qu was meaningful, however, I think the story could've benefited from more if they could fit. Still, this was a romance/angst story, and the secondary theme was certainly played on and explored very well. The supporting cast had good roles too and I never felt as if time was being wasted whenever they were mentioned or given a chance in the spotlight. Above all, Cordelia really shined in this story and her personal struggles to accept her flaws, move on from her unrequited love and rekindle friendship that blossomed into true love humanized and endeared her to me. A job well done, and despite what I said, I still wouldn't change a thing. Keep up the good work. |
Baconicon chapter 23 . 5/23/2019 Absolutely brilliant, one of the best Cordelia-centric stories out there, if not the best. I still come back to this for writing tips (especially when writing romance), and it’s such a great work. Thank you for making this story, and I’ll definitely be tuning in on future works. |
Aylatha chapter 17 . 5/10/2019 I liked the "lame and cheesy" chapter. |
Aylatha chapter 7 . 5/10/2019 Poor Cordelia... I almost cried reading this. |
GlueyStar chapter 17 . 1/29/2019 Nice...but I want, no DESERVE Lon'qu ... |
Gluey chapter 7 . 1/28/2019 Lon'qu...so sweet!...Ima die... |
GoldenCardinal chapter 24 . 1/10/2019 Wow wow wow! This has got to be one of the best fics I’ve ever read. Cordelia is one of my favorite characters, and you write her absolutely perfectly. Whenever I think of Cordelia, your version is exactly what comes to mind. Everyone else is greatly written too, especially Lon’qu. Your work made me appreciate him so much more than I had previously, and I’m so glad a fic finally makes me feel justified for pairing them on my first Awakening playthrough. You put so many great scenes in this work too; the comforting scene after Cordelia internalizes the death of her comrades in particular truly made me fall in love with this fic. The little things are great as well - the epilouge was adorable, the book tidbits were a nice silly touch, and all the minor characters really added a lot (especially that last Miriel scene). I know I’m years late to the party (I only just played the game a few months ago), but thank you for writing a story of this quality. You’ve made my Awakening-loving heart happy. Thank you, and I hope you’re doing well now so many years after writing this! |
Baconicon chapter 24 . 10/10/2018 A great story, friend. It’s refreshing to see a good Cordelia story that isn’t 100% about Chrom and the like. Nice work. |
Kushina-san chapter 24 . 8/6/2017 This is great! i loved reading this story! thanks for sharing your creativity! |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/28/2016 I've always felt like gaius and lonqu should be friends |
Reader From Hyrule chapter 24 . 7/13/2016 Very nicely written, a few ups and downs in quality (specifically I found it weird how you included Henry in one or two chapters and then completely forgot him/left him out) though I do think that you made Chrom a way too big deal since I found myself annoyed about her not marrying him even though it's impossible ingame and Lon'qu was there from the start and stated as such Favorited (dunno if you get notifications about those) |
turntimeGodhead chapter 24 . 12/5/2015 Aaah I love your work! Not only is it incredibly well written, it's very true to the characters, and I love how you include little tidbits referring to supports and stuff. |
InvaderSunshine chapter 24 . 11/14/2015 PERFECTION! |
galaapple12 chapter 24 . 8/5/2015 I absolutely loved thus fic. Great job! I hope you write morw Fire Emblem fic soon! |
November7th chapter 24 . 7/7/2015 Damn my procrastination. I'm getting lazy dropping reviews with all the stories that get updated simultaneously. But nonetheless, I just want to say excellent, excellent work! Saw my name in the thanks, and I admit, felt pretty great, haha. It's been a good ride and the amount of updates you've made in these past few weeks have been very impressing; it's bittersweet to have so much content but also meaning it ends a little bit sooner. You still have the most impressive characters being true to themselves and most definitely Miriel. Good luck in your future endeavors and I can't wait to read more. See you on the flip side! |
