I adore the way you write this friendship! It’s wonderful! Particularly appreciate your exploration of Glorfindel’s insecurity after the nightmare- it makes lots of sense emotionally that after having his sense of safety shattered by what happened in Gondolin, Glorfindel would have trouble believing that the safety of Imladris is more than just another illusion. I am also with Erestor in that when you’re not sure what to do, tea is the answer! You let sincere emotion shine forth through your dialogue without making it sappy, and whilst retaining both characters’ individuality. Please keep writing these one-shots, they’re great!

LOVE THIS But poor Glorfindel

Oh, poor Glorfindel. He's been through so much in his life. I'm so glad he's got Erestor to comfort him. Great update. I'd never thought about this explanation for Thranduil's scar. I always just thought it was something he masked with magic. I like this take on it though. Can't wait to read more!
