Fantastic writing as usual. It's simplistic language with complex emotions. This scene is so good, but I can help wanting it to be longer. Or more specifically, I want to know what happened to Mikey. Something about a research facility, so experimenting most likely. Leo, Don, Raph, and Mikey are all in-character and their interactions flow smoothly.

Favorite Lines:
"We're going to burn them to the ground."
(and)
"We'll find you, Mikey. We'll look forever."

"Donatello and Raphael only nodded without missing a beat."
This sentence feels a little awkward. If you delete "only" or "without missing a beat," it'd be smoother.

But nice fic overall! :)

I am an avid reader of all of your tmnt works, and I adore every one, however, this one always pulls at my heartstrings. The writing is so simplistic and complex at the same time. The emotions raw and pure. By far one of the best fics on the entire site in any category.

Thank-you for your writing, it brings these characters to life allowing us to share in both their joys and their grief. If ever you chose to write a prequel fic to this, I'm sure it would be just as amazing.

Tormented Mikey, lost and found Mikey, slowly healing Mikey, MY Mikey.

I absolutely loved this. An amnesia fic without being completely cliche. It was short and sweet. The ending was perfect.

This is a good fic too! Glad that Mikey is getting his memories back though, whew. Good job!

Firstly, kudos on summing up a popular trope in turtles fanfiction in a single one shot with just as much feeling. Granted it felt a teeny bit rushed, but Mikey's ending comment and Leo's answer made me too happy to care.
