I just realized that I haven't been skipping to Apritello interaction scenes like I do sometimes in T Fanfictions.. Oh shiz! I've been bitten by the Ponaco bug!

I found this tale from the Stealthy Stories II contest list of winners and I am so happy I did. This was a delightful read with a heavy Donnie focus. I enjoyed the insights into Donnie's mind and the cat rights between Raph and April. Those two red one's are so feisty!

Wow! I really enjoyed this story. I usually don't make it through stories that are more than 10 chapters but you definitely kept me reading! My only criticism would be that your tone stayed the same throughout. It was always high tension (high emotions, high stakes, high self-doubt) and although that's definitely an important part of a story, low tension moments are equally, if not more, important. It's when you lower the stakes, calm the emotions, that you emphasize and dramatize your high tension moments. Without those moments, your reader habituates to the high tension and can often loose interest. Even letting Donnie take a moment to rest and feel tired can add strength to the moments when he feels restless. Just something to think about!

Holy cats! What a great read! Your Mikey was absolute sunshine from start to finish, and the B Team dynamic here was the best. I'll be honest, I normally tend to veer away from Apritello stories, but this was, like I said, a really, really great piece of work. I think I saw the sequel earlier, so I'm headed that way now. Thank you so much for sharing!

I'm curious now if Raphael is truly jealous. Some other authors have shown me that Raphril can be a very good thing, but in the case of this fic I am behind Apriltello 100%!

"Tremendously"... so fantastic. Loved the shower scene so much. I love how shameless Don was even after Raph caught him. And then "did you see Raph's face..?" So cute!

Mmm, miso ramen... Donnie has good taste.

Okay, the obvious highlight of this chapter was the interaction with Splinter, no question. It was beautiful, perfect even. You make Splinter pretty reserved, so it comes out even more powerful in this scene where he attempts to explain himself.

Gah, that moment where Don admits he was scared and Splinter says he was also, and draws parallels to their stubbornness and need to fix things... yes. Beautiful.

God. So many feels. :O

This review sucks because I am speechless from all the feels.
