And Salazar was not evil. That was Salazar jr. His son that hated muggles not the founder.

As much as I enjoy this story, there are a lot of errors within it and a lot of canonical retreads. It really doesn't deviate enough for my liking. I know that you said this would occur increasingly overtime, but I don't want to keep retreading canon for the sake of minor alterations that ultimately do not serve the plot. The problem I have is that those changes which have come about, such as Sirius's pardon, Dumbledore's machinations, the "Ancient House of Potter" cliché and so on, are not unique. They have all been done to death in other stories. Thus, very little is original here. I will keep reading for now, given that I have already made a commitment to come this far, but I hope that things pick up fairly soon.

The story had been recovered and doing extremely well until the convenient stupidity kicked in again. And there is NO valid excuse for Dumbledore not knowing about the guardianship yet. Ridiculous that nobody is there to pick up Harry. Silly that Harry missed asking Hermione to be his girlfriend and to spend some of the holidays with her. It is mostly really good and then you let a teenager hack into your story for a bit. But I do remember reading some of the episodes before and on the whole seeing them improve until completion. Thanks for keeping at it. Regardless of the temporary hiccups it is a very worthwhile read.

Honestly, that's how I'd react, except it would be a little less of an accident, knowing my magic would be on the line. You have amazing writing skills, keep going!

It's unbelievably unrealistic to believe the former magical guardian would not be notified even in the case of the legal process of changing guardians being applied for. Everything else after was just as contrived and story is so good except when it seems as if it hasn't been smell-checked. Just too much convenient stupidity. But beyond the pale is Harry saying he can't afford to buy mature mandrakes from outside of Britain. Not even worth the time to keyboard how many ways that is ridiculous.I look forward to another GOOD chapter now.

I like it anytime Sirius is freed but I HATE the convenient stupidly plot point of Amelia NOT giving Peter veratiserum when she knew she was going to ask Peter those last two questions. Especially ridiculous given suspected death eaters always get veratiserum in the years following Harry's return to the magical world.
