This was a wonderful FT x Legend of Zelda crossover story of Link being sent to Earth Land to live a new lease of life there and didn't join Fairy Tail immediately at all like most crossovers started off that way. It is a very refreshing sight to see these days and I love it so much. :D

He sure changed the canon fates of some FT characters by his presence and actions. Most notably Layla survived and Lucy won't have to run away anymore. Plus Mystogan got a new power to give him the ability to actually wield Magic from the body than his Magic Staves from Edolas.
Hope he keeps up the trend more as he travels around Fiore along the way. XD

Even Konoe made quite an impact too as well, ensuring the good upbringing and welfare of the kids at Fairy Tail, which is something Makarov seemed to have failed to do, including Link. Creating new Magical technologies that could potentially revolutionize the Magic World for better use of good.

Do we get to see more Blazbue characters in the future? Especially a certain blonde Vermillion with guns? ;)

Don't let Link join a Guild (mostly Fairy Tail) please. That will make Mordred roll in his grave if his successor becomes a Mage, thus betraying the promise Link gave his word for. He won't be very, very amused at all,

That'll still make him a dangerous wildcard for the Dark Guilds including the Balam Alliance especially with the fact Link is authorized to kill them as enemies of the state on sight due to his rank and title as a Knight of the Fiore Kingdom. Legal mages don't kill but members of the Fiore Royal Knights actually do.
I mean if the Garou Knights are legally allowed to kill criminals sent to Abyss Palace, then Link holds no qualms to do so.
The Magic Council has no real jurisdiction over Link due to his ties with the Royal Family and his heroism and deeds among the people. Which means Ultear as its member after infiltration, had no way to manipulate him under her web without giving him suspicions of her true nature.

Make a different pairing in this story because Link x Erza is so indeed overrated and boring, nothing new at all.

If Link is serious in upholding Modred's wish to uphold and continue the legacy of the True Rune Knights of old while protecting the country from threats diligently, the best way to do so is to teach a group of chosen young men and women inspired by his heroics and chivalry and a drive to make a real difference, who will eventually become the new generation of the True Rune Knights completely modeled after the old generation from Modred's time. That goes along with passing down the secret arts and combat skills of the True Rune Knights of old to them once if they prove themselves worthy after managing to read the book previously owned by Mordred that can only be read by those who has the qualities of a true knight not just by strength alone but by their good character, moral virtues, sense of justice and conviction.

Since he will have the full support of King Toma who would be more willing to support such endeavor in atonement of his ancestor's injustice, Arcadios who will be more than happy to help in training new members, Darton who will help avertise recruitment for the newborn order, and Princess Hisui who could potentially be Link's first apprentice Rune Knight, that won't be a problem for Link to accomplish such task of reforming the Council's Rune Knights (since they seriously need an Adaptational Badass dose) due to being weak, pathetic and virtually useless in canon) or possibly even recreating Fiore Kingdom's own new order of Rune Knights to revive them from the ashes of King Arthur's betrayal of the old order.

Link wouldn't have to bear the burden of living up the name, duty and honor as the last True Rune Knight alone as there are many others out there who would want to protect their country and make a real change as the new True Rune Knights.

Of course that'll take quite some time by the time Link is a proper full adult but it is worth the effort for the better of Fiore and even Mordred would approve of it, now that the legacy of the old order is fully secured and won't be forgotten.

I have a proposed ranking system for the Rune Knights of the Council or the Fiore Kingdom from the bottom to the top in case you're interested:

Anyways, this was a fun story to read especially the fight between Link and Mordred and I'm looking forward to the next update if you're still alive lol. Faved and Followed. :D
