That was sweet, funny and best of all in character. Despite the emotion of the subject it never felt over the top, particularly as Sherlock - naturally - blamed his 'caring' on the drugs :)

I was sorry we didn't get to see anything of Sherlock's recovery after the shooting and the reveal about Mary so this was a very well done and welcome missing scene.
