I liked this. Very sweet. So glad the Doctor left it so that she'd remember eventually. Wish I could see what happens when she does.

Not quite sure about Capaldi as the Doctor yet, but I thought the same of Matt Smith, and he sort grew on me. Perhaps Capaldi will too. I did like the setting and how the Doctor got one New Years Eve with Rose, and that Karzan's question had been answered. I love how he and Rose talked and went out for chips. A lovely Rose/Doctor thing to do. I also loved he timed the memory to unlock next New Year's Eve after she's had time to adjust to the Meta-Crisis Doctor.

Oh, this was pretty! I guess you can consider it a bit out of character for Capaldi, esp in regards to Clara, but still. If he was still completely in love with one Rose Tyler, I believe he'd behave a bit more softly. So lovely.

Oh sweetie, you made me cry! The Doctor's profession of his love; and Rose entrusting her mind to his care. I don't think that you need to worry about the 12th being out of character: when any Doctor sees his Rose, the response would be automatic, regardless of time or regenerations.
This was beautiful! Really, it was, just beautiful. A moment that they will both be able to treasure for their forevers.
