Holy cow! So much to read and only two chapters! I absolutely love it! I wish more people wrote extra long chapters. Gives me more to read! I can't believe you haven't written more of this! You totally should! The concept is really good and I'd love to see where you take it! Update soon!

The story is interesting I was not understanding what it had to do with Van Helsing, now I'm curious about what will happen to Kathryn. I, in her place, would have gone to call the police (and would probably be dead, so).
The next chapters will be that big? (I'm not complaining but I suggest you do more paragraphs, the story is so well detailed that it is complicated to understand everything in large chunks of information) Petra and Andrei seem a fun couple.

REALLY loved the length of this chapter. It gave me so much to devour, it was quite glorious. The details were excellent and your pacing is quite good. The copious amount of details did get a smidge overwhelming at times - the only suggestion I would give is either fine-tune those details, or break them up over multiple, smaller paragraphs, so they don't feel like so much. Other than that, really enjoyed this first chapter! Your characters are realistic and Kathryn's reactions to what is happening around her were excellent.
