Great chapter! It was funny and then got me in the feels at the end. I hope they make up soon! This time, maybe they can have that lunch Sasuke wanted and talk for real. :)

Not hate Itachi as much? Not really. He's still a sociopath who wants Sasuke dead - and is now planning on going after Naruto, so both our main characters are in trouble. But if by "not hate" you mean understand his character better and where he's coming from, yes definitely. I just don't support him in any way.

Well that was funny now if only Naruto had marked the right car lol. Sasuke can't blame Naruto first nit believing him Naruto has no reason to,though the little date at the restaurant would have been nice if it had actually happened, though Sasuke isn't winning any points by leaving him there. Poor Naruto things just seem to get worse for him, lost job, sexual confusion, and damning secrets from his only family. Can't wait to see what they did about all this next chapter.

I'm sorry for what happened between Sasuke and Suigetsu. Story-wise, it makes room for Naruto to take Suigetsu's place in Sasuke's life because Sasuke has no one else he can rely on at the moment, but it's still unfortunate. But why did Sasuke and Suigetsu go that far? Was it an underlying curiosity stemming from years of flirting? Or do they have feelings for one another on some level? Either way, I can't imagine what Sasuke must be feeling right now. He's lost the only person he can talk to on top of being stalked (by Kiba) and having his life threatened (by Itachi). How is he keeping himself together?

Does Sasuke actually need Naruto's advice for something, or was it all just another way to get into Naruto's pants? When he called Naruto, he asked for help, but then when Naruto showed up, he acted like all he wanted was just for them to hang out.

I thought the pastor getting visions and telling Naruto that God wanted him to help Sasuke was too heavy-handed. I think there are already a lot of things in the story that are pulling Sasuke and Naruto closer together: the case Sasuke is working on for Naruto's family, Kiba becoming involved with Itachi, and the fact that they have already slept together and Sasuke desperately wants a repeat. We certainly didn't need the word of God commanding them to be together on top of all that.

I'd much rather Naruto starts hanging out with Sasuke because he finds some common ground between them, than for him to do it because his pastor told him to. It would even be fine if Naruto starts hanging out with Sasuke because he's paying him to be his bodyguard in place of Suigetsu. Either way, it's Naruto's choice whether to be Sasuke's friend or not, or whether to take Suigetsu's place or not. When he's got the word of God hanging over his head, it's pretty much not his choice anymore; he's got to obey. Naruto is essentially being forced to be with Sasuke, which I don't like, especially in a case like this when the story really didn't need it. A pairing shouldn't feel forced, you know?

(Even if part of the purpose behind that scene was to hint to Naruto that Sasuke has a tragic past, I still didn't find it necessary because Naruto is quickly being pulled into Sasuke's world, thanks to Kiba. He's going to find out about Sasuke's past soon enough, and all on his own.)

Wow. I was quite shocked to find out that Kiba knows Itachi wants someone dead and is still helping him anyway! He hasn't completely lost his moral compass because he didn't want to sell Naruto out, but I think it's only a matter of time before he crosses that line as well. He's already hurt Naruto through his actions with the robbery. Kiba's so desperate for money, but had no problem with getting Naruto accused of robbery and suspended without pay. And Naruto was surprised by some of the comments Kiba made after they talked with Kakashi, how they were violent and how he didn't care about God. Kiba is definitely changing for the worse, to the point that Naruto is starting to pick up on it. All in all, I am loving the plot twist with Kiba and Itachi and am very interest to see who Itachi's new recruit will be.
