Love it!

Well, lookie here! I've read this fic half a dozen times and always assumed I'd REVIEWED it! So, here you go! :)
I love this entire series so very much, but this was definitely a heck of a way to start! OMG that kiss in the greenhouse, DEAD CSotA. DEAD.
I adore these little one-shots where they meet, fall in love, and get married. I'm off to reread the rest of them now, and likely review those as well if I didn't already do so! :)

This was a lovely What-If story. It's a beautiful scenario you creat here. I wish this was how it had happened on the show and that we had gotten to know them as the lovely elderly couple that owned the local tea-shop... would have spared all of us hours of heartbreak as well..

But I'm glad it isn't, because that way I get to enjoy such beuatiful stories as yours.

I'm very much looking forward to summer and your next scenario!

How absolutely brilliant!

What I like best is the turn of events - your A/N had me think wed be following Charles and Elsie through the seasons. We get a beautiful start of immensely atmospheric detail; a close spring day after many others, thoughts of Charles and Elsie about each other. Then the thunderstorm that sets everything in motion. AND THEN IT ALL EXPLODES SO BEAUTIFULLY! They leave service, set up a shop, work hard - as they always did - and are blessed with the coming of a child, then another (I may or may not recognise the names ;) ). It's bloody perfect, it is.

Brilliant and beautiful! Loved it! What a way to go. If only... :) xoxo

Alas I cannot see the painting on the mobile site :( however I promise faithfully that when I next manage to beat my family away from the PC long enough to find the fic again I shall look and admire. As for the fic, I quite like the idea of them snogging in the greenhouse. And how sweet of Charles to wrap her in his coat. All us girls need a Mr Carson in our lives.

I was afraid to read this at first because I thought it might be too angsty. I'm always fearful of young Chelsie. BUT I LOVED IT! Perfect.
