I spent the last few hours rereading this fic, and I'm really liking what you've been building so far! The backstory of Kagome and the others reincarnating into a new life (making it almost canon divergence and AU all at once), InuKag adopting Aiko, and Hojo's darker side explored making him the perfect target for Naraku to be reborn... it all fits so well!

A few minor critiques: There's a sprinkling of grammar and spelling mistakes throughout the fic, but not too bad, it's mostly only noticeable to me cuz that's been ingrained in me from my high school days lol XD. Also, Sango's negative reaction to Kagome seemingly hiding her "pregnancy" wasn't the best, but I appreciated how they made up shortly afterwards. There's also some confusion on how much time passes per chapter (for me, anyway), but it's possible I read too quickly and missed the detail. Like I said, minor critiques, hehe.

I really love the twist of Hojo's "nice guy" image being far more deadly and terrifying, making him the perfect target for Naraku to be reborn in him. Eri falling for Naraku's trap, hook, line, and sinker was so tragically ironic: if only she knew the truth! I'm curious who will be the one to prove it to her, Kagome herself, through Hojo's stalker texts, or Inuyasha, being pissed off, or perhaps a group effort, disproving the fake Hojo's "brother" and Eri's misgivings... I really hope whenever you next update, you go into that, because poor Kagome deserves an apology! Eri isn't evil, just a victim of an elaborate lie. Typical Naraku-style, honestly, so good use of his despicableness there!

I would say that InuKag's seemingly "rushed" relationship is a critique, except 1) when I read InuKag fics, I'm LOOKING for self-indulgence, so why should I complain lol? XD and 2) you seem to imply that more time passes than what is described, so that helps. That and soulmates "fatefully entwined" kind of thing... ;)

I also love how Kagome is connected to Midoriko (and that Kagome thought she was her imaginary friend! How precious!), the full weight of their past lives' memories hitting Kagome, and the implications of future showdown(s)...

I'm really intrigued with what you've got so far! Don't feel pressured to update anytime soon, just be rest assured that you do have a following, waiting eagerly but patiently for the rest of this interesting, great fic! :)

Sesshomaru and Inuyasha can use the tabloids as witness and material evidence Kagome is where she says she is. So technically this is a good thing. Not to mention she was witnesses from her family, friends, and her pack.

It is great Kagome wants to learn the inu youkai language and inu youkai culture. She can now be even more apart of her family/pack in taking the time to learn about the culture she has entered into. The pup can learn both Japanese ningen culture and inu youkai culture. And Kagome is with her every step of the way.

When does Kirara show back up? She is Sango's battle partner.
When does Kagome awaken Sesshomaru's, Miroku's and Sango's memories of the past?
Why doesn't any of the older youkais and hanyous from 500 years ago remember Naraku?
Why hasn't Inuyasha and Kagome come across their old friends like Jinenji, Shiori, Souten, and etc?
Where is Tessaiga, Bakusaiga, and Tensaiga?

Does Kagome know how to do healing magic? She can heal her jiichan. And she can broker a deal with Kagura to set her free by giving her a new heart.

Poor grandpa! I hope Kagome is okay, there's a lot of different things being thrown at her and it's sad and terrifying to see like the missing persons case and now the fire. I hope everything works out at the hospital :( thanks for the update! Hope to see you soon!

Kagome has no ties to youkai council. She can form the soul bond for rejected hanyou-ningen or youkai-ningen mates who wish to together and are rejected by the youkai council in the future.

Is Kagura a hanyou or youkai this lifetime?

I am surprised naraku hasn't gone after Sango the youkai taijiya and Miroku the houshi for revenge for standing against him five hundred years ago. By the way, when does Kirara show back up?

I am so glad Midoriko got to Kagome in time. She awakened Kagome's memories. Now she has to awaken her friends memories. In order to kill naraku again, they need their memories. Where is the bow of Mount Azusa? Kagome going to need it again.
