I think this may be my favorite fanfiction I’ve read to date. The storyline was original and so well written. There was such insight into Reid’s internal turmoil and his struggle with West throughout the story really drew me in to keep reading, and the chapters with the drowning and recovery had me on the edge of my seat. The team united in support of Reid after nearly losing him was so heartwarming. The only issue I have with the story, and it is just because I am an analytical person, is that I cannot imagine how West could have physically managed to tie his victims to a pole in the Potomac without help; I mean, imagine one man struggling in the water with an unconscious person tying their feet and hands to a pole while submerged in the water. That just doesn’t seem doable. Other than this one item that troubled me, this story is so incredible. Thanks so much for a great Reid story which also was a great read! I hope you’ll keep writing.

And JJ! No! Don't tell the Bad Man about Spencer's fear of the dark. That was Not Nice! It was just a slip up, but HONESTLY, girl, be careful what you say around the Devil Man

I think Hotch should have suspected something right off the bat seeing as Reid is almost never wrong.

Reid, in a lot of ways, is like a young child just beginning to face the world. Bambi like. In a lot of others, he's older than all the people on Earth out together. I loved the story mademoiselle.

Great writing, especially Reid's insecurities and West's thoughts.

Thank you for writing this, it reflects the way some of us feel sometimes, completely alone in a room full of people. It gives us hope... in the end, we are not alone.

I know it has been a while since you wrote this, but anyway, I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you already found consolation.

One question here, wasn't his mouth supposed to be closed with duct tape? We'll see in next chapter, I guess.
