I don't mind River so much, as long as she's not paired with the Doctor. Her character is rather clever and she's always interesting to watch. I just don't her being with the Doctor. Part of it is just her character and part is that I am just too much of a Doctor/Rose shipper. I do applaud you for not bashing River at all. You did a wonderful job having her be just the right amount of being upset about the Doctor still loving Rose, but not bashing Rose either. I did like that she was the one to come with the idea of turning the TARDIS into a void ship to go and get Rose. I do want her to be right about TenToo not lasting long, and imploding. I don't like him much either. He's just an easy and convenient means to an end.
I liked Rory and Amy's part in all of this, the parts that they saw that no one else did, and for staying and just watching Rose and Nine and wondering about what went wrong.

Oh good! It's hard to picture River doing that, but if this was somewhere early in her timeline, maybe so. Still doesn't stop me from loving it though. Can't wait to read the sequel! :)

Oh, that was just exactly what I would have wanted. Rose and Nine, Rose trumping River...I don't hate her, I just never warmed up to her 'romance' with Eleven, I just don't buy it. But I'll ship Nine and Rose until Doctor Who ends. But you treated her well, and I do like that River put her big girl pants on and worked out a way to potentially help-though I'm very curious to see where you take this. And Rory and Amy were cute, I imagine Rory and Rose would have gotten on well as friends.

At first I was going to berate you for continually making me cry, but then that ending showed up and now I can't stop smiling :D

You actually made me tear up. I swear Rose Tyler has this bad habit of getting under my skin and making me cry every time I think about her departure. Add that to the Doctors feelings and boy, that's a doozy of an emotional storm. Well done with the story.
