Everyone has character and personality and they feel like actual people (or, you know. Something close it it). I really like that. I really like that you have Marshall-Lee actually having an internal war and Fionna slowly opening up to new concepts. That's just amazing. I'm looking forward to Cake and Fionna's chapter. I'm glad that you wrote them the way you did. A lot of people just have Cake and Fionna completely abandon each other and that's not right. Also looking forward to Femme and Gumball. Oh ... Oh, wow ... Um ... Ya kno, I am usually a decent reviewer, if I do say so myself. I love classy, plot-driven smut as much as the next girl(which is more than any classy girl will admit nowhere but the internet) but this absolutely takes the, er, pie. (I don't feel right using the cake pun here, not after the last two chapters lmao) All I can say is, OHMYGLOBOHMYGLOBHOMAIGLOOOB! I love it. Granted the largest, and only reason, I'm dabbling in this fandom is that I recently learned some of the 'history' behind the world of ooo, or in case of Fiona, aaa as it's been called. It's an interesting concept to make a blatantly silly show have such a dark origin story while obviously directing it towards younger viewers, one that few shows pull off well. That being said, I adore when fanfic writers decide to take these shows and make adult content with the characters and expanding on little interactions and personality traits to make well loved ships. *cough cough Fiolee cough cough Zutara coughcoughcough* When my little brother first started watching AT, I wrote it off as stupid and pointless. However, when I learned that the show had released genderbents, in an atmosphere that at the time was only just beginning to acknowledge fanart in it's own right, I decided to dip my toes in. Finn and Jake, meh they're ok as far as characters go, enjoying more growth than our heroines since they are the main characters, but Fiona and Cake? They're the pair that caught my interest. For one simple reason, FIOLEE! Goodness gracious alive, I couldn't get enough. But I couldn't find really well thought out fics. This one however, introduces headcannons galore, along with smut and feels, into a believable atmosphere, once you start looking at the characters as developing, er people and not stagnant, under appreciated cartoons that enjoy little to no growth in the show-verse. Also, the man-period thing had me laughing hysterically for a solid 20 minutes. Imprinting, among other things, is a believable facet of how you've presented Marshall and, given that this obviously takes place after his in show 'Appearance' and his consequential discovery of how Fiona operates emotionally and mentally, his trouble with feelings is more believable because of it. Here he isn't just saying "it's my nature" like he does in other fics before giving it to a varying-level-of-acquiescence Fiona and it isn't the normal 'what is this feeling I'm feeling' agnsty story about Marshall hiding his feelings. No, his has a *bangs fist on desk* legitimate *bang* biological *bang* fucking reason to be doing what he's doing. So thank you, thank you so very much. Here, you can have all the hugs that I am not currently giving to MizDirected over in the Mass Effect fandom. *hugs* and an internet cookie. *throws cookie*
