It had to be harder for them to get it back together than they showed. The exigencies of network television making it impossible to really go into background detail, but you filled in at least one of the blanks quite well. Thanks.

This was a difficult episode to watch. This chapter helps. I just felt so bad for them, to suffer due to something out of their control. Although the separation had to be hard for both of them, Brennan had her daughter with her, Booth did not.

Being away from them for three months was pretty awful for him

gosh, that was so heart wrenching, to read, (i felt it more, than when i watched the ep in the series)
pelant caused so much pain, suffering for not only b&b, but also the horrors jack & ange faced, what cam went thru, feeling like her team was split into teeny tiny pieces, whilst they all tried to gain the upper hand, just once, against pelant, but what he did to bren, first with all the innocent lives he took, trying to manipulate her into his evil game (he called it a game, for goodness sake, the sicko), then taking more away from bren, by torching & killing her old school friend ethan sawyer, all the other victims, then to his final act, trying to split b&b, which in brens quick mind, pushed her to make this horrid decision to send herself & christine away with max, away from christine's father, bren's strength at her back, her booth, i initially thought ... sucked in pelant, felt like i should be sticking my tongue out in a childish manner, but in the end, it only hurt booth & bren, for being forced into this action.

now b&b are trying to get back onto the once solid ground, with each other, booth's trying to get as much time with christine as is possible, whilst being mad at a whole heap of people that he's missed out on 3 mths in christine's life & her in him, all coz a sicko/psycho wanted revenge upon them for putting him away, where he rightfully should've been, due to the crimes he did actually commit...that's probably wot gets me the most, its b&b suffering, at no fault of their own.

really, truly love this fic, its a truly beautiful way to have daddy & daughter really interact in such

OK, "Harper", your review didn't make it in because I've been quite ill and just haven't been on the site... so thanks for your opinions about not taking reviews because someone doesn't agree with me. As you can see you're wrong. ... secondly, its fiction.. and he didn't destroy her room, he took his anger out on a few things that were in his face... all of this happened hours after Brennan drove away, and its MY take on it... so thanks for YOUR opinion.

I just don't see booth smashing up his daughter's room. Booth is a better man then that. Hopefully my review will make it through this time, my last one got deleted. If you can't take a review that doesn't agree with you than maybe you shouldn't write.

I think you have Booth all wrong in this chapter. He would never destroy his daughter's room. He put all his time into finding the truth.

It wasn't that she didn't trust Booth, but she didn't trust the System (I wouldn't either.)
