That ending hurt. Ow. This story was so, so good! And I would say that what Dean said at the end is my reaction to many Supernatural episodes. "It hurts like hell." That was amazing, heartbreakingly amazing. Thank you.

I literally started crying at chapter two. That was beautifully written-i loved every single, heart breaking, second of it.

Poor Dean... He really does have to carry so much on his shoulders all the time.
This is exactly why I have always hated John. He says he's doing the best he can, but that's still no excuse to push all the responsibilities of being a parent off onto his son and belittle him for it all the while. Bobby was more of a parent to those boys than John ever was, which is so sad considering how much less he saw of them.
Very well done! The ending, though... *sobs*

Really interesting story, great mixture of action and introspection. Well written, good charactisation and nicely paced. I especially loved the last few lines, so much said with so few words.
