Not my ship, but it was honestly so well written, I could see them working as a believable couple. Very enjoyable!

I loved it! While the original story was really good, this ending here was just so much more satisfying!

How do they cope after the events in Iowa? I can just imagine that Jim wouldn't pressure her into anything more but he obviously would be affected by her continued relationship with Spock. Nyota loves Spock but Jim is so much more emotionally available to her than Spock will ever be. I can see Nyota turning to Jim again in the future because of that emotional availability. Not sure if you plan on writing more in this world but if you do, I will definitely be reading it! Thanks for writing!

This alternate ending was wonderful. I normally detest unfaithfulness but having Kirk and Uhura share this one night together is almost magical. Maybe it's just me but I sense far more chemistry between Kirk and Uhura than Uhura and Spock. The disparity in their live expectancy alone all but dooms the relationship. And, her relationship with the Vulcan requires far too much work and compromising on her part. A relationship with Kirk would be filled with laughter, adventure and outward displays of love. They could grow old together. I get he sense Kirk would really know how to romance a girl!

Of course, the original was poignant and sweet but left your heart aching for them.

Watch out Spock! Things are changing. I like Nyota with this version of Kirk.

OMG! This was great! Loved the original and love this too. Absolutely dying to read the next chapter but I will never forget your last story where they got together. Months later and my mouth is still on the floor from that so I cannot wait to see what you have in store here.
