But Bones...I can't even imagine the strain that such a situation would put him in...having to do something over the conn...but it also shows you how skilled he is in his profession. It's nice to know that, no matter what, Kirk will always have Spock and McCoy there to assist him in his needs. :)

I really enjoyed this story! I thought you did a great job setting the scene, I could feel the tension and anxiety on both sides of the comm. I really liked seeing it from the perspective of those on the ship, and Kirk making sure that the channel wasn't ship wide before admitting that he needed help. I really enjoyed reading this, thanks for writing and sharing it!

I LOVED it! Really intense and well-written. For some strange reason that I can't explain, though my mind couldn't see this as TOS, but as Reboot. Either way, I surely enjoyed it and would have loved an expanded story too.
