This was adorable! My favorite part was the ending. Festus is way more than just a metal dragon made for travel and attacks, he is a special friend that will be by your side.

Festus reminded me of my own dog, I mean, my dog doesn't act exactly like Festus, but no one can have a relationship like you have with your pet. I think that you showed this relationship quite well. Also, gotta love that Leo!

I love Festus. And I love melons (the fruit, I mean). And the melon Percy is talking about is pretty cool, too. :) This was such a cute one-shot -I despaired when Mrs. O'Leary died (you can tell bc that the first thing I asked you about haha) but I still loved the one-shot!

Hopefully I can review your other stories -sorry if I never get to reviewing them; I can read and enjoy something easily, but it's hard to write reviews because you don't want to keep saying the same thing over and over: (in a sense:) Loved it; ohmygodsamazing; beautiful; such a good story; etc. But this story was all those things so. :)

*whistles* whoa. Sixteen stories for your b-day, huh? Couldn't do that. I can't do anything schedulish with writing. I tried writing a oneshot for Valentine's Day. I had a freaking ten months between the time I got the idea and Val-Day. Never finished the thing. Same with Nightlight Shine Bright — I mean, I did finish, jus nowhere around Christmas like I'd planned.
...yeah, I'm just rambling now.
This was good. Really. I'd never really thought of it, but...guess Festus would. Like, you know, do that.

Before I say anything else, HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY! I'm pretty sure people are supposed to give /you/ presents for your birthday though, not the other way around. I'm not complaining though, a new story from you never fails to make my day (not to mention sixteen of them)! This was just the fluffy kind of feels I needed right now, so thank you for that. I just have the horrible timing to be half asleep and slipping more every minute when you start sharing more of your great talent with us lesser beings, so sadly I probably won't get to read the others til later.
