This is so beautiful, I wish they had done this conversation in the episode.

I appreciated this ending. Blake just leaving her badge seemed too much like Elle and Gideon leaving Reid without a goodbye.
Blake and Reid seemed to get along so well. I think it was important for Blake to tell Reid why she was leaving.
I was sorry Blake left. She was one of my favorite characters in the show.

I liked this additional 'ending'. This time Spencer was the one walking away with a big beautiful, if bittersweet, smile. Maybe it didn't need to happen. Neither does 99 percent of fanfiction. But I so love reading these little bits that make a great episode last just a little bit longer. :)

I loved every word of this and yes, I believe they needed more, as well... some things we never wish them to end, but they do.

I love this story. I am sad to see Alex Blake / Jeanne Tripplehorn go, but I'm just super glad none of them died in the episode LOL. That preview for the finale kind of scared me a little at first until I thought about it logically and examined the wording more carefully. At one point before the finale aired, I figured out someone would leave the job, I just figured it would be Hotch. Why? Because every season there seems to be rumors that the actor is going to leave the show, so I figured maybe he was... but I also knew if it wasn't him then it would be Blake who left. It was pretty obvious on several occasions that she was missing her husband, so... yeah. Anyway, I too wished there was more to her conversation with Reid on the show, so thank you for this fic. :)

Just read this ( kept it back until the finale had been aired in the UK) and I think it fits on well to the scenes with Reid and Blake. Just wondered why it is always Reid that people feel they have to say 'Goodbye' to; Gideon left him the letter and badge and now Blake leaves her badge with him. But she did say goodbye in person for a change! Always felt Blake's maternal leaning towards Reid and now we know why.

Personally, I found it an excellent addition to the ending. I am sorry to see Alex go, too, but Jeanne
Triplehorn had only signed on for 2 years, so they had no choice. I do think it was an excellent episode also.

I loved this. I needed this little bit more. I so hated seeing him standing at the window, knowing he must still have questions about Ethan and if she only saw her son when they were together or if she saw and loved the real Spencer. He never got closure with Gideon or his father and at last, he had closure with somebody he cared about and knows she love him for who he is.
