I know. This entire finale is exhausting and so depressing. But don't worry- I'm sure Skyward will be together in the end! (I still don't want to have to wait 5 months.) Great writing, as usual, and I loved the description of how dark and haunting he seemed. Keep up the good work.

I know it's like we wanted them for so long and the second they happen it all blows up around them...Just remember we can always rewatch the earlier episodes to heal our broken hearts

From between this and the dozen other Skyeward stories in your archive I can only imagine the last seven episodes were each in their own way a sucker-punch.

This is a nice story and you really drew me into the scene with your descriptions. But I'm thinking, especially in light of the final episode, you should try reversing the roles some in the next story. Here Skye is terrified and her hands are shaking but I read her character as unbreakable. The stronger of the pair. She could admit her feelings and not falter. Ward is the slave. A stray dog rescued from the pound and given alternatively treats and beatings until loyalty is assured. He's the one who can't admit his feelings for fear of weakness.

Good job. U are good writer and so talented.
