I've been binging your stories these last few days. Of course I like your style and stories, but you must know how good of a writer you are. I want to thank you for sharing this particular story. I know I'm late to this Sherlolly party but nevertheless, this story came into my life at exactly the right moment. I needed this mirror to reflect certain things regarding addiction. Your writing is superb and it took me on a journey into myself that i really needed, but shied away from. So thank you. This was probably a journey of discovery for you, but I need you to know that it was a journey for this reader too. And we both needed it. And my reason for writing this? The greatest compliment to a writer (i should know, being romance novels translator for a living) is that their writing impacts the readers in a profound way and helps them in ways friends, foe, interventions and prompting from loved ones cannot. Your story touched me that published novels couldn't for a while now. Loving someone that has problems with substance... Abuse? Is not for the fainthearted and your story helped me realize that. Thank you. FF or books, it doesnt matter. THIS here is a story of a writer who delved deep into the subject she wrote about and helped others do the same. Truly, you are infinitely talented and I hope one day you will get recognition for your writing. Hope you're having a great life, wherever you are and whoever you are. This story was heartbreaking and uplifting and beautiful. I love it. I love simple kink without the theatrics and hard edges. I love the realism and that you never shy away from Sherlock's self destructive habits. it was sometimes hard to read, but the characterization was spot on. Thanks for sharing!

Ever since I read the author note in first chapter I was wary of this story. But I like your other works and wanted to give itv a go. When you finished it I bookmarked it on my phone to read and it waited and waited and waited. Finally I found courage to try it and, boy am I glad I did!

I am not into bdsm. Never were never probably be. No matter the configuration it just doesn't work for me. I did look for some information about it in the past, (and not because of the Fifty Shades of Gray. Which I have a feeling may not actually be accurate, it always felt kind of... disrespectful toward the Lifestyle), anyway, I could never understand nor really enjoy the descriptive stories (no matter the Fandom nor my otp), but part of me always tried to understand what might be the appeal.

And here I FINALLY found the confirmation of what it's all about. I always felt uncomfortable reading bdsm because it's very... intimate to me in the regards of the relationship and how one person becomes so open up to trust explicitly while the other becomes responsible to the fault. Those are very powerful feelings and I always felt that's what bdsm might truly be about. And writing about it or reading about it felt exhibition-like.

Your story takes the angle to portray bdsm in such a way, that I can't help (and never thought I will) call... Beautiful.

To he honest I don't consider this story as bdsm at all, it's part of it, of course, but to me this story is not at all about it.

The way you portray Sherlock's and Molly's relationship the best I have read in this Fandom and to that I applaud you. Great job. This was a marvelous and emotional journey and I enjoyed every single moment of it.
