Oh, this is interesting :) I like the very unreal feel of this, the way we followed Bella's train of thought, the confusion there. Her wondering if this was supposed to be a punishment, this solitude, but pondering on how it actually felt soothing—the fact her reactions were very seldom usual ones. There was something intriguing and paradoxal in the mix of how her thoughts were blurry and disorderly, and the calmness and serenity she gave off at the same time. Just like Harry, she found herself naked, not sure she existed, not sure where she was, she moved—but the experience was different and truly her own, with the cocktail room so familiar and full of memories. The parts about the Dark Lord were interesting, her calling him Tom and then catching herself, the fact that he had been in her life since she was so very young, that he had cared for her, but destroyed her in the end and then dismissed her. And she didn't blame him, all the same—the damage had been unavoidable. The day that had just passed, the battle seemed so hazy, too (LOL to the Weaslette woman). And the broken child… she saw and perceived exactly the same things as Harry, yet it felt entirely different, because she instinctively was drawn to it as though her subconscious could tell what it was, and then she recognized the eyes and there was that huge shock. The creature was pretty heart-breaking, with the truly pitiful state it was in, the whining that stopped when she touched and held him, but she could not truly ease the pain all the same. And this would be her sacrifice—not Azkaban, not leaving behind part of her sanity, but this guarding. This role as a caretaker, when she truly wasn't the caretaking type. Interesting. And I wonder where the hourglass rhyme came from, unless you came up with it?

Wow. Just wow. Cal this is beautiful.
I actually had goose-bumps reading the end. The amazing thing about this is that it isn't out of character, it just gives you a glimpse of the depth and complexity that these characters might really have.
I loved how you imagined what Bellatrix's limbo would be like. And I felt truly sorry for her, and also admiring of her valiant choice to sacrifice her eternity for the one she loves.
I think I just fell officially in love with this ship.
"...Tom always broke the things he touched..." -clutches at heart, cries- DAMN YOU TOM!

FYI The only error I saw was:
apply "on" her - should be, apply "to" her (near the beginning). Otherwise, perfect!
