Some of the themed variants that have come about are markedly less distressing, though the fanaticism of players for the theme might flip that around to become even worse, occasionally. I can think of a few that might make it slightly longer before devolving, with this group, though they're all too competitive to keep it that way indefinitely. (Monopoly is also rather difficult to outright win, unless all but one or two players have horrible luck that day. It can easily go on indefinitely, hence half of the stress it causes.)

This fic was hilarious! I love the "It's a tie." part, Bruce would definitely do that. I wrote a fic about the avengers playing monopoly too, but yours focuses more on the game. I loved it! Great fic!

*grin* I like Monopoly, but I have to admit it does nothing for building bonds. Which makes this really funny.

I once played a single game of Monopoly for two days straight. . . To this day, I still have yet to actually complete a game of Monopoly. One of the longest, most aggravating board games in existence. xD Great story! Loved it! Awesome! Maybe next time Steve will listen when multiple people on the team say something is a bad idea. :) My favorite part was "Clint going to jail," with "Bruce almost Hulking out" in second place.
