For goodness sake, there must be a better way to show that most of the chapter is memories without making a chapter that is almost entirely italicized.

That aside, Jack needs to calm down a bit. Who says Pitch doesn't just want to thank him? Jack did save his life after all.

First of all... I love that you compared the Nightmares to a murder of crows.

Second, Jack's a goose. The Guardians may not like what he did, but they'll likely understand why he did it.

I sincerely hope Jack doesn't die.

And what the heck was everybody else doing when this happened? Seriously, nobody tried to stop the Nightmares?

What is Pitch gonna do? Does he just wanna talk to Jack, or is this a trap? I wonder what happens next. Looking forward to more! XD

I love how Tooth stayed behind after Jack said that he wanted some time alone, as if to say, "Sure! Alone with me!" :P Seriously, though, this chapter was amazing. The dream sequence kept me worried and in suspense. The Guardians worrying over Jack in their own ways was in-character, and North's room was well-described. Baby Tooth's vigilance was a sweet surprise. And, of course, I adored the hair-stroking at the very end. Some of Jack's uncertainty about his decision sounded a bit repetitive. Make up your mind, man! Other than that, this was a beautiful chapter, and I am excited for more. What kind of connection DOES Jack have with Jamie...?

This was pretty powerful. You portrayed Jack's uncertainty nicely, and I loved the brief flashbacks into his past. I could see the whole scene playing out vividly. It was both amazing and heartbreaking to be in Jack's head as well as in the action of the story. You did that very well. Some of the uncertainty got to the point of feeling a bit bipolar, though. A couple of lines, like the sweat falling down like angels' tears and Jack fighting the nightmares' inch of strength with two inches, felt a bit over-the-top. Also, there was one instance where you spelled 'hole' as 'whole'. Overall, this was an intriguing, unpredictable start to a story that promises to be full of surprises.

I can't wait to read the next chapter, I want to know what they'll do from now on, especially Pitch sure that he'll be fighting for the confusion of this whole story XD

I'm glad that Jack being trapped was all just a nightmare. But what is Pitch gonna do, now that he's loose. Will the guardians blame Jack for saving Pitch? I hope Jack gets well soon. Why was he coughing a lot? I hope he isn't dying from some kind of nightmare sand overdose or something. So many questions! So eager to read more! This story looks very interesting! I wonder what happens next! Looking forward to more! :)

I personally really love this. The idea and theories behind it are well thought out and you've written it in a unique and engaging sort of way.
I really hope you have more planned for this.
