   Sovereign and Unbroken chapter 2 . 12/14/2017 After going on a bit of a Bioshock kick, I've come across this story. I like the idea, and I'm eager to see where you take it. Personally, I'd like to learn more about Kaiden and exactly how he wound up, and grew up, in Pauper's Drop. A bit of criticism; I've noticed that you put some actions in parenthesis instead of actually describing it. I'm mostly speaking about the first chapter, when the Little Sister called out to Kaiden for help. The line -"(screams) Help! Stop it!" screamed the Little Sister in fear- is redundant. The "screams" in parenthesis is pointless, since you've written out that she's screaming her line after the quotation marks. -"Help! Stop it!" screamed the Little Sister in fear- is fine by itself. On a more serious note, you have my sympathy regarding your loss. It's hard to move on after losing a loved one. I sincerely hope you're doing well, and you should take all the time you need to sort out your emotions. But you definitely shouldn't let it stop you from doing what you love, no matter what that might be. |
