Oh, I really like this. I fell in love with the Holmes parents when we met them in series three, and there really aren't nearly enough stories about them out there.

That was an amazing insight of the Holmes family. I grew a liking in papa Holmes and the way you wrote him was heartbending. I liked that he's the one who can read his relatives when they put up pretenses to hide behind. You made me realize how much I would love to see more of Sherlock's particular family! Thank you for filling in the gaps :) I love the way you write silences too; they're so emotionally packed. Nice work!

I love this story! It's the first one I have come across which sees the events from the POV of the parents and you have captured the essence of their characters and the family group dynamics perfectly! Thank you for writing it. Excellent work!

I absolutely adored this story. Very, VERY well done. It was simply wonderful, and I love... well, everything about it. It has a nice flow, the characters are, well, in character, and I could without any difficulties see this play out. I think its beautiful! Not having names for the Holmes parents adds something to it, a level of creativity and emotion that wouldn't be there if they were traditionally identified. I like it better the way you have it expressed!

I love how you portray Mycroft. And I love that the whole thing is from the perspective of the father. It is a very dear piece. Thank you for sharing it. It's wonderful!
