I loved this fanfiction, it pains me that it wont be continued.

Soooooo... Is this story gonna come back? It's been a long while and, after rereading the whole thing, I'm disappointed we left off right at the "this is my boyfriend" drop. Please come back!

I realize that I may have been harsh in my last review, and therefore I apologize for that. I do like some concepts that ocassionally pop up, like using classic Greek monsters, fitting with the fairy tale anology while introducing new stuff. This story is also one of the better formatted stories compared to other work.
The problem in this Story is from 2 things: it's outdated and it feels like it hasn't been edited thoroughly.
This story inevitably was going to get things wrong since this was written between Vol 1-2, but the story takes too much of a liberty with those unfleshed concepts that looking back, of course the story was gonna be AU, either that or sqeeze the Relic and Maidens uncomfortably with the plot.
There also seems to be a disconnect between editing in or out ideas. It feels that some concepts were added without much though, like Will turning to a faunus, or were ideas that were supposed to be taken out but didn't, like Conner' s overly dramatic backstory that is predictable in pace. Even with some dialogue choices, like Damien seeming like a big jerk when at Remnant even though he's described a person who doesn't know much on current culture because of his mother.

This story felt like a way to vent and for self pleasure, and while that isn't inherently bad, it does take away from the experience as an obvious self insert with a special power.

Life continues like a train wreck. It’s cool at first, but then you see the after affect and wonder why you liked it. Keep on moving forward my friend.

Yeah, I'm done. I was cringing the whole time I was reading the first part. This is way too freakin AU for me. Honestly expecting Spiderman and Batman to show up later in the story with the whole dimension hopping element to the story. Yep, way too much for me.

Ok, first thing I don't get is how Jerry is thinking a fictional character (Weiss) is going to be involved in his life at this point. I would expect most people to think something along the lines of "Wow, time to get some fn super powers!"
Second, Ozpin knows Cinder's identity? That has to throw canon off the rails.
Last of all, the whole Silver Dust explanation seems off. It makes the world sound like it's going to be way more sci-fi. Like characters are going to be able to teleport and time travel at will because of this space/time dust that is readily available.

Good enough start. Wondering if the other 3 named characters will follow through later in the story. Kinda hoping they don't.

damn Ive been playing the witcher to much. all Im hearing is european accents of the nordic variety. bits of Scottish sprinkled in there as well. any way so far badass story.

I've gotten around 8 chapters into your story, and oh boy do I have some problems. While there are some points that have been already been shown in other reviews in the same story, I'll say what bugs me.

The characters really are kinda bland. Jerry is the typical all-around guy, Damian is just boring, Conner has a 'tragic' backstory that's there so you can feel bad for him, and Will is just guy Nora. I guess I understand what you were trying to do, but it would have been better to get more feelings off the characters instead of just telling the OC's traits in the first chapter. Show, don't tell.

Also, you ship all the main characters with team RWBY. Not a bad thing, but it needs to make sense. I'm soooo sure Will, whose super energetic, and Blake, whose antisocial in terms of her past, will really work even if it's like trying to put a circle block in a square hole. It doesn't fit. If you were going to ship the OC's at least give a good reason to why they would make a good couple.

Now, I understand if things don't connect to canon, but this story does try to get away with a lot of crap. Like, Ozpin just says that there's a completely different world. He never decided to ask that other world for help? He doesn't even know if the other world is safe or not, so he potentially just sent team RWBY to die. Why not send the teachers or Ozpin himself if this Dust crystal was such a big deal?

Finally, while I don't want to sound like a bully, but this story doesn't really handle any criticism that well. I remember that the writer of Emergence, Chris7211, and several people who gave some of the same issues in several reviews and that they were just simply skipped over. That's not cool. You're either going to respond to all the people that decided to review your story and say how this could be even better, or don't respond to any reviews and make yourself seem more professional by getting right to the story that people want to read. And no, grammar issues don't count as criticism. If you have any issues, PM me.

Time for me to continue onward to see if there are any redeeming qualities later in the story!

I almost completely forgot about Qrow and Tai when it came to Jerry and Ruby. I'm so looking forward to seeing their reactions properly in the next chapter. Jerry is so boned.

Also, I think it's kind of interesting how you made the tones a bit darker like the original RWBY, but without using the events from the story. Have you split off from that or are things going to go similarly to the show later on?
