Hey, sorry to hear people were giving ya flack about tenses. As long as you're being consistent in whatever readable grammar and spelling system you choose and producing good quality content ya should be fine. People complaining about stuff in a way designed to hamper an author's enjoyment of writing comes across as very counterproductive.

Given her treatment by Dursleys, Snape, Dumbledore, random students and Muggle England, kind of a weird hellscape of a Harry Potter world you're building here, but definitely appropriate for one with Anko as the viewpoint character as she has a lot more strength and experience and bloodlust than needed for the baseline world.

Yep. McGonagall's animagus form is a very good kitty that deserves scritches.

Nice that Anko is still training physically. Hogwarts seems to lack any gym facilities outside of flying classes and those probably aren't designed to build much muscle.

Honestly? Anko not being Anko can easily be explained by her basically fusing with Iris (IE: fem Harry) far I figure. She was good enough for me and probably good enough for most that like the character and realized this bit.

The negative crap in this story is completely overdone, no attention was paid to Snape at all beyond blindly keeping him the same as if Anyone were Harry, and making McGonnagal her aunt and immediately taking that away was completely pointlessand the latter part doesn't even make sense from Dumble's perspective. Didn't bother reading further.

i think you should cut back on anko's training she is becoming too overpowered. right now her opponents can't really touch her except for the troll, the snake and the snape. it reads too much like a summary on how she got stronger rather than her overcoming obstacles and making friends along the way.

increase the dialogue with hermione and try to add some stakes. there needs to be some consequences for anko's disregard for the rules and her actions. if not then it is better to go full parody or even crack.

alternatively speed up voldemorts return and go all in on anko's ruthlesness as a ex ninja. an all out war with death eaters and voldemort would fit this anko better than a school setting where she acts like an overpowered delinquent.

also the rape scene makes no sense since gilderoy should not have been able to dodge charges since it is the girl who lived. you should have given the rape aftermath its own scene and not add it as a afterthought to a thought bubble. this severely undermines the severity of what happens to Anko. everything feels kinda random with little consequences for the overall story.

Anko is just so awesome. And with all the magic she learns, she'll end up learning Elemental magic, and maybe Fiendfyre... And play with some of the darker and strange magics *_*
And I await the meeting with Tonks, as well as whoever she is un the meantime. A teacher (astronomy or runes or arithmancy if you make them young) ? Some she meets over the summer (Tonks, after this year ?) Let her have fun with a teacher, and then you introduce Tonks ?

I saw the post about people hating the story and saying things like you suck... Sorry to hear that, unfortunately thats life cant please everyone no matter how much you try.

Just try to focus on the ones that enjoy the story or dont out right hate for whatever reason thats not relevant.

For whatever its worth i enjoyed it and if u continue will enjoy it even further. Good luck on the story writing friend!
