I like seeing Clint and Maria after shield falls. Nt knowing who they can trust, except each other and a select few.

Finally I could read this without worrying about being spoilerized : ) Excellent, as always. So many great details and interesting to see how these two might be getting on post-S.H.I.E.L.D.

This is the right mix of sweet, yet satisfactory. I knew I could not be one of the few who wondered where the hell was Hawkeye in the whole damn movie - anyways, love it.

Oh just the type of fanfic I wanted to read after watching that incredible Captain America movie. Hill was an underestimated character for most in The Avengers. Seeing more of her in TWS was just so right and I wanted more after the movie ended. This gave me more and with my fav Hawkeye. Plus with all the right hints of clintasha that I needed. I kept my eye on that necklace throughout the movie. Just knowing that the connection was there. Great job.

I just got back from Winter Soldier and immediately upon coming home checked your profile praying that you had written something, anything detailing the aftermath of the movie. I'm so glad you had. You have several small elements here that would make for a terrific multi chapter story, Maria Hill rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D within Stark Industries. The idea of anyone trying to rebuild a secret spy organization with Tony Stark hovering around sends me into fits of giggles. No matter what you write next whether it is in the Avengers of Voyager universe I know I will anxiously look forward to it.

Love this. Love, love, love. I love your vision of what could be coming next for our favorite ex-agents, and your execution (no pun intended) of the story is flawless. I felt like Barton's and Hill's voices were spot-on. Here's hoping Maria is strategically placed at SI to bankroll the new, rebuilding baby SHIELD (or whatever they are going to call it)!

A fun read...even if I haven't seen the movie. Liked getting this more personal/friendship view point between Maria and Clint. And his initial blank reaction to Maria's comment about Nat wearing the arrow necklace made me chuckle. :)

I like the flow and the tension. It's like watching acrobats walking across a tightrope that zig-zags in a constantly shifting route over a deadly chasm, potentially moving from friendship all the way to enmity, or vice versa, with occasional stops somewhere in between.
As always, it's the little things that pack a punch, noticing someone's tastes because you care what matters to them, or noticing to find a way to set up for the kill.
