Chica Plutonio chapter 1 . 7/7 I had a bad feeling about all this. Last time I read about raining rocks in a battle, only 9 out of 200 soldiers or so survived. What a relief the Narnians somehow managed to survive and make those giants retreat! The narration was captivating and very descriptive. I could imagine the whole scene developing before my eyes. When I reach the end I was a bit sorry that there are no more chapters, but the story is good anyways. At the end I thought Peter would be furious and tell Edmund one or two things about obedience, like in the battlefield before. I wasn't expecting him to thank Edmund, and it was the perfect ending. As always, keep up the good work. Cheers! |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/17/2017 I love this! I love anything you do with these two boys. No, I love anything you do with any of the Pevensies. Now I'm just wondering how they got home and how Ed and Pete didn't die. But I suppose that didn't really fit with the story. |
Dymphna Karpovna chapter 1 . 2/10/2017 It's sweet! And I can easily imagine something like that happening! |
Rookblonkorules chapter 1 . 7/12/2016 I loved that! The brotherly love between the two of them is amazing and you write it beautifully! |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/2/2014 This is Ashleigh. love this story and would love to hear from you. Message me. :) (USMA2020) |
lifechiaroscuro chapter 1 . 7/1/2014 I'm pretty sure I reviewed this when it was posted before, but I do wonder: have you written about the earlier time Peter fought the giants? I'd like to hear about it. Caity :) |
Pirate18 chapter 1 . 6/4/2014 So sweet! Fabulous job on the ending. Nearly brought tears to my eyes ;) |
Rayven49 chapter 1 . 5/24/2014 Ohhh this was gorgeous. I'm sorry I didn't read it earlier! Absolutely lovely. I adore the relationship between the brothers as adults, even that flash of Edmund, childlike, when he hugs Peter and says, "Love you, Pete." My heart just shattered. Poor Peter, having to make the hard decisions about when to be the High King and when to be a brother. I don't envy him. Interesting thing I just noticed, since I was rereading "Thole": you and SentimentalStar both have Peter experience really really awful things in a run in with the Ettins. They're so awful. I even saw (positive) parallels in the language you used. And I've found myself using it with Edmund in relation to Peter in my story. I love that we're practically creating our own fanverse with specific wordings. Again, perfect. Yours, Rayven |
Rosa Cotton chapter 1 . 4/13/2014 I'm laughing and crying. Brilliant! The bond between Edmund and Peter is just fantastic. Well done! Thank you very much for sharing this! |
MCH chapter 1 . 4/12/2014 When will Peter learn that Edmund doesn't always do as he told. It would save him so time not repeating himself. Thing is they where both right and Narnia dies actually need both her Kings. Finally great story about two stubborn people no make that 4 the Queens are just as stubborn . |
quarterhorseranch chapter 1 . 4/7/2014 What a setting! Awesome imagery! And I loved this! :) |
sailor68 chapter 1 . 4/7/2014 Wow, what a great story, you did it again! Thank you! It is very good to have a stubborn little brother...well done! |
SweetSunnyRose chapter 1 . 4/6/2014 I love your stuff always. :) I'm glad they both made it in one piece. Congrats, by the way, and all those wins you picked up. |
delicatelyglitterywriter chapter 1 . 4/6/2014 Oh. My. Word. This is an amazing story! :) |
LadyAlambiel chapter 1 . 4/6/2014 Awww, for me? Yay! Encouragement...pestering, they're rather interchangeable, aren't they? ;) Gah, I despise the Giants! And poor, poor Peter suffering from the PTSD still (but well done on making that realistic), not that I blame him one bit. And no, Edmund never does what he's told...THANK ASLAN! Oh the poor horse...I'm glad Edmund wasn't riding Philip this time. Yes, you dumb Giants, yes, you pushed Peter's berserker rage button! Oh, Peter, you really must learn to stay aware of ALL your surroundings though. I love how when Linnet is trying to restrain Peter and Lucy is trying to soothe him, Susan just puts her hands on her hips and tells him to behave himself! I snickered at that part in particular. So Susan. And the brotherly flangst! Love, love, love the brotherly flangst! I love how it all ties in beautifully with your original "Contrite" snippet! And another reviewer was right, Edmund DOES get his lip split a lot...starting with the first movie. Sooooooo, what's next? We must have more stories! Lady A |
