Interesting story, but remember that chakra is at least half spiritual and all of that came with him. Also remember that he is Uzumaki, and they have exceptionally large, potent, and resilient chakra systems.

Finally, remember that the several hundred Shadow a Clones he made against Mizuki were without the aid of the Kyuubi.

Now, with apparently 24 years of time on his hands and the skills (plus shadow clone training), he should be flinging Rasenshurikens around at his whim, and entering Sage mode for kicks, etc
