And they're back together again! I've always felt like these three were the Whoverse equivalent of 'the three hunters' in LOTR.

I honestly liked this meeting between the Doctor, Rose, and Jack way, way, way more than the canon version in Empty Child. Seriously. Love it.

God. Brilliant. Seriously talented writer. So glad that you wrote these fics.

I always enjoy your little nods to the original series, but I especially appreciated the way this episode paralleled "The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances" in regards to Jack. Again, the con that goes wrong, even though Jack didn't intend any real harm, and again the choice to stay and help when he could easily leave. I love the bit in the "The Doctor Dances" when Rose wants to know why the Doctor is confident that the bomb will be taken care of, and the Doctor says smugly, "Psychology." (Cue Jack riding the bomb like the cowboy that he is.)

Other things I loved about this episode: the description of the Doctor from Jack's perspective-all angles and unnerving intensity, all those (deliciously sexy) things we adore about Nine but which aren't always directed at our primary narrator (Rose). And, of course, the fact that the Doctor really owns his name for the first time. I'm not sure that's something we ever see in the TV series (at least not in the first four seasons, which is as far as I've gotten).

Anywho, you're a genius as always and are fulfilling the Nine-shaped hole in my life (this is like the third or fourth time I've read the entire Parallax series). I assume real life has gotten crazy for you, given the long break since the last update, but I hope things are well, and I eagerly await any scraps you find time to throw our way. :)

They did it! They saved the day! Hooray for Team TARDIS 2.0! It was so good to see them together and working as seamlessly together as always. Thank you for that gift awesome author :) I am so in love with the fact that the Doctor taught Rose how to pilot the TARDIS. Of course he would trust her. Jack has no idea what he has signed on for and I am sure he is going to love every minute of it. So "friends' is a euphemism for "the most epic couple in all of time and space"?

What a lovely ending to this awesome ep! I really, really like it.

I love the parallels to The Doctor Dances ("everybody lives" and "It's bigger on the inside" - "You'd better be") but also how this time Jack joins the team not because Rose makes the Doctor save him but because he wants to follow them.

This line "They were only two, against the universe, and suddenly Jack couldn't bear the thought of it" was nothing but amazing! Probably one of my absolute favourites from your whole Parallax-series so far because it holds so much meaning. With but a few words you show us what the Doctor and Rose have become, how they appear to others (Jack in this case), and you tell us of why Jack goes with them. Because they can offer him something bigger, and at the same time he can offer -them- something.
Team TARDIS has always been destined to be and I cannot wait to see them in action again. I hope though that this time around it'll last longer than in the prime universe because I've always wanted to see more of them than just the few eps we had.

Thanks as always for writing and sharing these brilliant works! And don't you worry so much about being late with updating. Your chapters are worth the wait and really, two weeks isn't that long! For me, time flies by anyway so take it easy. This is a hobby, it's supposed to be fun and not a duty. :)
