Never did like the GiW, so ofc I knew this was gonna be angst-filled. But thank you, Mysterious Agent, for that small shred of kindness.

I love how open-ended it is (and I usually don't like open-endedness), so the lack of a backstory and conclusive ending was a nice touch.

Once again, great job you two!

Anyway great story! The emotion here is well written. I also sympathize with the agent who's kind enough to show Danny his family. For an agent who's threatened not to interact with the subject, he's brave hehe.

Damn that was intense. This was amazing. A beautiful and emotional story. Heartbreaking - but I loved the final line which looks forward to a hopefully brighter future.

Oh jeez, what are these tears. Mmmrrrrrmmmm all I hope for is that Danny is successful in his endeavor.

Sequel? Pleeeeeease? *sniff, sniff* I wanna cryyy...wait, never mind, too late for that. I've already bawled my eyes out. I have no clue why I continue reading these sad, angsty fics whe all they do is make me want to curl up and sob. But...they are so good! WAHH I CAN'T DECIDE!
Still, this fic was really good and I really want to see Danny reunited with his family. I'm also a sucker for happy endings after a bunch of angst and hurt/comfort. Family hurt/comfort is the best...at least in this phandom.
It's been so long since I've watched Danny Phantom. I really miss it. One of these days(most likely summer break) I am going to find all the episodes and watch every single one in sequential order...but then again, I've said that about a bunch of other shows too...
