Found this through another author's favorite stories list. I just read through all 15 chapters so far in about four hours straight. And it's almost 4:30 am now. I liked it so much I didn't care that I really should have gone to sleep a while ago. I wanted to keep reading. And I still want to read more. Any chance chapter 16 will show up soonish?

Hi there! I was supposed to review this again after Chapter 3 but the free time to do it came only just now. Anyway...

Yami no Yuugi’s change was gradual, which is good. There were parts in the story in which I felt the characters were quite OOC and bordering on their 4Kids characterization, but that’s just me, and since this is a character study and it’s your fic, you call the shots. Anyway, you included stuff that make sense with the way the Pharaoh acted, so the build-up in his character is coming along nicely.

Since the series runs until Season 5, I guess this fic is still far from being over. Well, please do continue; I can't wait 'til it reaches the Memory Arc. )

This chapter was so fluffy! Or at least in my opinion. Another great chapter!

Well, I think the last time I reviewed I said something about me being interested in seeing how you'll portray Yami regaining Yugi's trust after the Kaiba-incident and yeah, I thought it was well done. You were worried about Yugi being a bit out of character, but I think the way he acted felt believable. He was upset and angry, and even though Yugi isn't one to be angry for long even he doesn't just let possible homicide go just like that. So yeah, good job.

I think the duel chapters could be more interesting if you tried to somehow put a bit more character study in them. I know it's hard and it might not even work but... I don't know, just a thought. Still the action flows well in my opinion.

I really liked this breather chapter too (ch. 12). It was nice to see something that didn't directly happen in the source material and I think it's something that really could happen. I also like how it addressed Yami's social awkwardness and how he apologised for his actions in the past to others than Yugi too. The scene where Yugi and Yami are poking each other was cute as well. :)

Some spelling errors keep appearing. Sometimes you write "to" when it should be "too" and in this chapter I saw one of my pet peeves: "there" instead of "they're". But still, minor stuff.

This is a good story add more chapter :)
