Wow. Just... wow. Somehow I didn't expect the end with their threads being tied together instead of finding each other at the end, but I like the change. "At the end of one thing is always the beginning of something even better." Headcanon alert: They were threaded to each other in the first place but with their experiences dying, the threads interpreted themselves as being cut. Thanks for posting. :)
