I LOVE THIS! Please upate soon! I like Erulastiel and how her relationship with Thranduil is faring. It isn't fast paced, but also not slow enough to be dragging. I hope we can see both of them fighting together against the enemy.

Your writing is superb, some of the best I've seen yet on FF! I love the way you've done the characters, contrasting Thranduil with someone he can truly call an equal in both the good and the bad. I think the physical threat that he poses in the beginning to Erulastiel, though uncomfortable and unhealthy, was relevant to the burden of resentment and darkness they both carry. They are volatile and lost, but they anchor each other in a sick sort of way, a relationship that's unfathomable to some (I'd never be with a man who bruised me, I don't care how gorgeous he is) but is the only real way for either of them to survive the shadows within them. Not all relationships are pretty, or healthy, and I find it fascinating to watch them grow together to find a respectful and loving place for their future to take root. Fabulous job, I can't wait for another update! (:

Wow this story is hauntingly dark and beautiful. I just happened upon it and read straight through...you certainly kept my attention! Your use of sweeping metaphors is very powerful and moving. I do hope Thranduil is done physically injuring our heroine. Domestic violence Thranduil is not my fav :( I think I understand your purpose here though, and I just hope that bit is done. Looking forward to future updates!
