First Hobbit fiction I've read. I don't have much background information either. So no qualified comments. But I like it.

This is beautiful and heart wrenching and I really hope you write more! I would love it so much if you write another chapter or two, but of course, that's your decision. Happy writing, and I really did enjoy this, even if it made me feel sad for Bilbo.

So, I've never read any Hobbit fan fiction before, (haven't even read the book), though I have seen the two films, and I admit to being a little apprehensive about starting with a new fandom when I don't know much about the characters, (I'm afraid I can't really tell which dwarf is which, only the head one played by Richard Armitage). But I shouldn't have worried.
This is a lovely, sad and thought-provoking story, and I do feel sorry for poor Bilbo when Thorin is so cruel to him. As ever, a very well crafted story! :-)
